Philippines: The Philippines has seen a significant rise in the number of new treatments approved in the past few years, as growth medicine has become a major component of the health care system.
The country has seen an explosion in the amount of new drugs being developed and tested for use in the country, according to a new report from the International Growth Medicine Association (IGMA), an international group of growth medicine experts.
According to IGMA, there are now more than 2,200 new growth medicine products in development, with almost half of them in the Asia Pacific region, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
While the region accounts for only a fraction of the global growth medicine market, it has become one of the most popular areas of investment, with many large companies investing in and operating in the region.
According the IGMA report, growth medicine is a broad term encompassing a range of treatment options including:
